One of our family members has passed away.

Nancy fought a great fight for many years.

We will always remember her infectious laugh and possitive attitude.

She really exemplified the true meaning of being a Masters Swimmer and knowing the value of the water.

We will provide more information as it comes in on services and memorials. Please say a prayer for her partner Pam.

You can visit Nancy's story at CaringBridge.org

No Schedule

Update!! Sept 17th 2020

Waiting to hear back from School Districts and College

hopefully soon!!

Bit of a breakthrough today Oregon Health Authority

approved 1.5 phase for pools today so hopefully it will

be only a couple of weeks before teams can get back in

with restrictions!! This was done by a few swim coaches

pestering the Governors office for 2 months straight!!

Stay tuned!!!

Meanwhile keep up the Open Water swimming if you can if no algae also

you can rent a lane at Chahalem pool and possibly LaCamas

and Hood River if you are out that way stay tuned in stay

healthy and stay safe:)

My Guess with Multnomah County not up to speed yet. We will be able to get back to Mt Hood around the middle of Sept we should the whole pool on weekends and half on the weekdays and nights. Most likely how it will work is we have two swimmers per lane short course. I will add workouts on weekdays from 11:45am to everyday if I can and one more night practice to alleviate crowding.

When we start back only ORM paying members will be allowed to swim for the first month - no drop ins so we don't max out swimmers - 40 on weekends and 20 on weekdays.

We will do texts to me to solidify your spot for practice.

Once we get going I think it will loosen up pretty fast.

Hang in there Gang it's almost over!

Coach Bake:)

Hello fellow swimmer!

My name is Andrea and I'm a member of the swim team and am a current chiropractic student at University of Western States, having previously obtained a degree in Naturopathic medicine!  The campus chiropractic clinic is accepting new patients and I have put together a therapy and treatment program that is focused on competitive swimmers and common injuries they receive.  I utilize unique rehabilitation programs including use of kinesio tape, cupping, and class IV laser, and therapeutic exercise that fit your busy lifestyle to get you back in the pool or back to living your fullest life!

If you would like to come to the clinic please call (503) 255- 6771 to schedule and say you were referred by Andrea Emde.  If you would like to see me, your fellow swimmer, I am treating under Dr. Bergstrom and am available:

       M, W, F 1:30-6:30,
       T 7:30-11:30,
       Th 7:30-1:30

I do have referral cards for your first visit-- making it only $20 until June.  Please feel free to email me at andrealemde@gmail.com
if you are interested or would like more information or a referral card.

Thank you all!

Andrea Emde
